Current Nifty Projects

So, I promised a post about the nifty projects I am doing.

To be honest, I would say the house is my biggest project... but it's also one of those things where I will buy some gadget or set of tools and stuff, I will start out helping Eric who loves to get his hands dirty with such things, and then I end up getting in Eric's way... so I just sort of would clean or otherwise be the happy helper... and occasionally be told to unscrew things that were pesky when his arms were sore from lots of prior unscrewing.

The other cool thing I would say I am working on right now is the Merkur. Cayce and the guys got the Merkur out of the garage (thus freeing it up for Lina) and now we have the Merkur being worked on again. The main stage right now is pretty much getting the wiring re-done (we have since stripped out the wiring harness and finished soldering the megasquirt) and to get it running again.

I guess my other new project is this "blog one post a day" thing. I suppose if I constantly think of putting down my thoughts on paper, it will increase my traffic and I'll stop having these "oh, I remembered something I sort of wanted to blog about 3 days ago but forgot and didn't have the time and..." That, and it will get me out of the other forums where I seemed to be very bad about looking for trouble.

Otherwise, I figure at some-point when I get back I need to go to Cayce-n-them's house with a camera and take some more pictures of the merkur. It has made a lot of progress and I imagine lots of cool stuff will be happening soon (smoke, and wheelspin, and fire.... OH CRAP)
