May: Month of Perky Doom!

Last weekend, Geoff's good friends David and Becca visited us, adding to Marcos, and otherwise, continuing to grace our apartment with nifty people. It was nice to meet them because Geoff talks fondly of them a lot and it was neat to see why, they are genuinely cool people.
Last Thursday, I went to Taste of Alpharetta. There weren't tons of people who showed up in terms of random Atlanteans wanting to play, but I met lots of cool high-school people from the area and might be able to carry some momentum into a Tournament later. It was a relatively positive experience, and I am happy that Eric came by to help out
Yesterday, I reminded myself why it is a bad idea to try and get to Cayce's apartment in Smyrna before dinner time rather than after: The traffic is horrible and there seems to be no time early enough to escape it. But once I got there I had a wonderful dinner and I was glad to see Cayce, Mark, and of course Eric, who I got to snuggle later. I will probably go back over today because now is the time for megasquirt assembly.
This weekend, Eric, Geoff and I are piling into the GeoffMobile (read: my car as a sedan with an automatic) and heading over to Huntsville AL to go to the wedding of the Wendy and the Morgan. It will be neat, because I imagine a lot of ATH alums will be there, and otherwise, I'll be going with Geoff and Eric and that should be a lot of fun.
Finally, I'll get back monday, call my parents to visit (yay) and perhaps go car shopping with Mark... but otherwise get ready for closing on my house wednesday.
This house is so close. If the closing goes well on Wednesday the first thing I am gonna do is buy a lawnmower and chop things *squee*
